Privacy Policy

Unbound: AI Text RPG — Effective July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Unbound: AI Text RPG ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Anonymous account identifier. On first launch we create an anonymous Firebase account for your device. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or phone number unless you provide them separately.
• Gameplay text you type. The actions and choices you type to play the game are sent to our backend and to our AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate your storyline.
• Saved game data. Your character's stats, relationships, story timeline, and in-game finances are stored so you can resume your saved lives.
• Purchase records. If you buy an in-app item (e.g. Chaos Mode, Premium Usage), Apple processes payment; we store only that the entitlement was purchased, not your payment details.
• Advertising and device identifiers. If you watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob and its ad partners collect device/advertising identifiers and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. See Section 4.
• Reported content. If you use the "Report" button on a story event, we store the reported text, your account identifier, and your stated reason so we can review it.
• Diagnostic data. Basic technical logs (crash data, request counts) to keep the service running and to enforce daily usage limits.

2. How we use this information

• To generate your AI storyline and advance your game world.
• To save and restore your game across sessions and devices signed into the same anonymous account.
• To process and unlock in-app purchases.
• To serve rewarded ads and measure their performance.
• To enforce fair-use limits on AI generations per day.
• To review reported content and improve our AI content filtering.

3. AI-generated content

All storylines, characters, and events in Unbound: AI Text RPG are generated by an AI language model (DeepSeek), not written or pre-reviewed by a human. The text you type is transmitted to DeepSeek's API to generate the next part of your story. We do not send your real name, contact details, or other directly identifying information to DeepSeek — only the gameplay text and in-fiction game state. AI output can occasionally be inaccurate, nonsensical, or inappropriate; use the in-app Report button to flag anything you find objectionable.

4. Third parties we share data with

• DeepSeek (AI text generation) — receives your typed gameplay actions and in-fiction game state to generate story text.
• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions) — hosts your anonymous account, saved games, and backend logic.
• Google AdMob and its advertising partners — collect device/advertising identifiers and ad engagement data to show and measure rewarded ads. This data may be used for third-party advertising and is linked to your device.
• Apple — processes in-app purchases through the App Store; we do not receive your payment card details.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. EEA / UK users (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form is shown before any ad request, letting you control ad personalization consent. You may withdraw or change consent through that form at any time it is shown.

6. Children's privacy

Unbound: AI Text RPG is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at yo.tube.smartlua123@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain your saved games, timeline, and usage records for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your data, contact yo.tube.smartlua123@gmail.com with your in-app account identifier (visible in-app on request) and we will delete it within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.

8. Security

We use Firebase's standard authentication and database security controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date above.
